Isiolo county is endowed with natural beauty and lies between Laikipia, Marsabit, Samburu and Meru. The county provides a unique home to wide diversity of wildlife with over 300 species of birds. The Grevy’s zebra is recognized as a flagship species in Isiolo and is one of Isiolo’s Big five (Grevy’s Zebra, Oryx, Somali Ostrich, Lion, Reticulated Giraffe). Laikipia County boasts of the largest number of wildlife outside of the gazetted protected areas in Kenya. A unique attraction on this landscape is the endangered Grevy’s zebra. It estimated that up to 40% of Grevy’s zebras are found within the Laikipia - Samburu ecosystem. The county has engaged in several efforts to increase environmental awareness with regard to conservation and is a proud sponsor of this event.

Masrabit is the largest county in Kenya. Marsabit is home to a large population of animals that include elephants, buffalo, leopards, lions and a large number of birds. The county is committed to preserving the Grevy’s Zebra and is a proud supporter of the Great Grevy’s Rally

The county is home to a thriving population of wildlife including over 450 bird species, elephants, cheetahs, leopard, gerenuk and African wild dogs. It is also home to some rare species such as the Beisa oryx and the reticulated giraffe. The county is a proud sponsor and supporter of the Great Grevy’s Rally.
