Join The Great Grevy's Rally in Laikipia, Meru, Isiolo, Samburu or Marsabit county and become a citizen scientist to help save the Grevy's zebra!
Do you love exploring the Kenyan wilderness? Have you always wanted to see more of Kenyan's beautiful landscapes? Join us at one of our beautiful campsite!
Most of the locations where Grevy's zebra roam require participants to set-up a campsite in a central location so you can drive around your designated area with ease for the weekend. We have quite a few regularly used campsites on offer for the rally across all counties. These campsites provide a lovely spot for you to pitch your tent and provide firewood for cooking and nightly entertainment. If you self-camp you will need to bring your own food, water for drinking, cleaning and showering, and all necessary camping equipment.
If you have experience and equipment to camp on your own get in touch with us directly on our sign-up page and we can find a preferred campsite for you that meets your needs. The total per person per day cost is KES 3,600 inclusive of all VAT and fees. This includes your camping fee, conservancy fee and the assistance and security of a local ranger. Remember! You need to save space for this ranger in your vehicle to help you find your way around the conservancy and locate the Grevy's zebra and reticulated giraffe during the day.
Interested in camping but new to the experience or do not have all the equipment? This is not a problem! We have a few local outfitters who can help you plan your trip and provide the necessary equipment. Different services are available at different prices so please get in touch with us directly so we can help you plan your trip.
In a few locations we have partner lodges that are offering special rates to join them for The Great Grevy's Rally. Please note that some accommodation offers include a vehicle and some do not. If you would like to book one of these special offers please fill in the information on our sign-up pages and make sure to include the lodge you would like to stay at and we will help you to complete your booking.
